TDgen47@IB
Hey, Will doing an EE in a subject help in the university looking positively upon this fact if one is applying for a course that includes the subject directly? For example, If i do my EE in chemistry , and apply for medicine/engineering, will the university I apply to favour this and give me a better chance for getting accepted? Lynxarin
Some universities may consider it a plus, given that you score really well in your EE. It would perhaps show that you are genuinely interested in the subject and not just scored a good grade in the subject as such. However, the potential plus is really small, if it exists, so I would not recommend you to consider that a factor when you decide on an EE topic. Hope this helps 1 Reply
IB_taking_over
Couldn't agree more with Lynxarin, the benefit of doing an EE in a subject related to what you want to do with the rest of your life is negligible. It is best to do your EE in a subject you have a passion for or a topic you find interesting. 1 Reply
