I want to compare the "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller and "To kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee based on the theme which is the American Dream. I want to know if I can do this because our teachers didn't told us how to do it so im lost. Welcome to the extended essay.On a more serious note: 1) narrow your topic down further ("The theme of the American Dream" is very vague, and overdone). 2) Both of your works are very popular (and hence overdone), which I have heard is generally not looked upon favourably by examiners.
