daiisycurtis
Hi, I'm just finalising my English A Literature Extended Essay on the use of Death as narrator in The Book Thief and I was checking the grading criteria. I'm pretty sure I've done everything. The only thing I don't understand is how to accomplish 4 points on criterion D. How can you "clearly and precisely locate the investigation in an academic context"? What exactly does this even mean? If anyone knows I would be so grateful as I'm really lost on this one! Thanks,Daisy. Reply
IB_taking_over
Quoting from the EE assessment criteria: "To obtain a level 4, it would sufficient to relate the investigation to the principle lines of inquiry in the relevant field; detailed, comprehensive knowledge is not required. So, basically the goal is to show that you understand the stuff you are writing about in an academic setting. Reply
