After choosing optimization as my topic, I tried to use it by figuring out the size of a box in which to package a computer case. After doing the math and finding the estimated volume, I wasn't sure what else to add. I got feedback from my teacher saying, "It shouldn't just be solving the problem". I was very confused on what she must have meant. What else should I be adding? I was thinking about the foam (space it takes up in the box) that is used in packaging to protect the case but I don't know what else I should be adding.
