emmie
I'm doing an Extended essay on English Language and Literature, focusing on Agatha Christie and her characters Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple. I'm trying to focus on how she wrote two quite different characters and still managed to make them both effective in solving the problems she presents them with. My question is: How does Christie change her writing style to effectively develop different characters that fit the detective genre? Is it appropriate? How could I improve it? Rosalina
Hi there! I like your topic quite a lot! Christie wrote quite a number of novels for both of these characters so you could have a lengthy discussion about this. I would suggest that you include Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple in your question and focus your discussion on a few books which can strongly support your point. Good Luck! 1 Reply
