xsandralee Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 you have to calculate the probability of the 1)game going to deuce, 2)probability of the game going to non deuce 3) probability of Adam winning once deuce is called. #2 should be easy, just look back in part II, in what you did (but remember you have to win be at least 2 points) to find the probability of adam winning with deuce, you add the probability of 1 happening, to the probability of adam winning once a deuce is called (#3) . hint: use sum formula for geometric sequences. It doesn't make sense if u already have the probability of him winning after deuce has been called... Besides, a deuce is not a winning condition, ...
