Kylie fan
Hello, I'm thinking of applying for an internship abroad this summer (in Australia). Unfortunately, I don't have any work experience so putting down volunteering activities I did for CAS would be my only option to put down under experience. Do you think volunteering activities you did for CAS could still be put on a resume/CV? Reply
Gaby
If it's relevant, then absolutely. There's no reason to value your volunteering experience less just because it was done for CAS. You don't have to write it was for CAS anyway. For example, my first EYP session was done pretty much purely for CAS, but I fell in love with the organisation and what it dos and later became an International Delegate (which is quite an honour), and I have that on my CV/LinkedIn profile, it doesn't matter it originated as CAS.
