Tomorrow in class we have to write an essay on the play and the essay question is :"Discuss the historical influences present in the play. Consider your answer in two parts: 1) What historical aspects derive from the time and place of the story; and 2) What historical aspects derive from the life and times of the author to influence his themes and ideas?" I've done some research on the background of the play, the author and the victorian era. I also watched the movie about the play (1952) and currently am reading the play act by act. Does anyone have a recommendation for the structure of my essay? Like what the introduction, paragraphs, conclusion should contain. The more detailed the better.
