nomsy
is it okay during an IOC to analyse line by line, or do you have to find a way to put everything as one because I normally find it difficult connecting and then I finish really quick Reply
Blackcurrant
Either way works -- it depends partly on the passage (which might suggest one way is more suitable than the other ...) or whatever you are more comfortable with. There is no prescription in the matter. I think most of us tend to go for the line-by-line or stanza-by-stanza as an organizing principle, but that puts the burden on the conclusion, where you MUST synthesize and nail your idea... if you manage to leave yourself the time for it. Timing is really crucial. It is easy to get bogged down by details in the chrono approach and find out you've run out of time! Reply
