There's different ways that people can check if an artwork is plagiarized. Mostly, I would imagine it's similar to a reverse Google image search where they can find images that are visually similar and compare.

Your art teacher needs to validate that the work is yours. I'm not sure what the rules are for every school, however at my school the art teacher needs to see you create each piece (Can't make an entire work at home) and see your ideas develop. If the IB cross check it with their own database and the obvious internet option and find evidence for plagiarism then teachers validation is questioned :bored:
