Guest Posted April 27, 2016 Report Share Posted April 27, 2016 Hi all, Last year, I'd been getting fairly good grades on my essays, and this year, well, it's suddenly dropped which has been quite disappointing (though not a surprise considering how unresponsive my brain is being towards analysis in essays). There isn't really one big issue, but a lot of big ones, which is more than a little troubling, specifically: writing a coherent and concise introduction determining the subject/theme of the passage the actual analysis and knowing if it is enough/makes logical sense I'm aware the middle is only done through practice, and whilst I've looked at plenty of examples of essays, none appear to be the type that my teacher is looking for. It would be great if anyone could offer some advice as to how I could improve with these and/or look over an essay plan I've made for IOC preparation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
