Vivo_007
What if I copy almost entire material for my IA from internet and cite it? What will happen? Because it cannot be classified as academic dishonesty right? Reply

kw0573
If you were to violate academic honesty policies, you would be notified by IB through your coordinators and will not be allowed to sit through the exams. If you hadn't get such a notice then you are fine. Typically you are not expected to come up with anything entirely new to mathematical community in your IA, so if you explained topics in your own words, or added your own thoughts to verbatim sources then that's often acceptable. For example, IB will accept high school level explanation of fourrier transforms even if the candidate hasn't fully derive the transform.
