tashakappler
Just wondering. Are they allowed to look at them before they are sent off or not really? And if a student fails an exam/chooses to resit, do we/our teachers get them back? Reply

WhitneyGrace
Yeah, 24 hours after the exam they are given your exam booklet so they can look at the questions and such. And I just found out today that they also receive electronic copies of your answer booklets at some point. Reply
Msj Chem
Teachers are not allowed to see students' completed exams before they are sent off to the IB. They do get a clean copy of the exam paper 24 hours after the exam, that is correct. As far as I know, exams cannot be returned to students if they fail, students can however request that the paper be re-marked. It is not a free service however and is only worth doing if you are close to a grade boundary. 1 Reply
Seung Hun Han
Papers that students wrote are directly sent to Britain sealed in a IB given envelope right after the each test is finished. So, unless the coordinator is corrupted, teachers can't see the exam papers. Reply
TheMountainGoat
What if the coordinator is corrupted, and some people change answers before it is sent off? What happens then? Reply
ibstudent321
It's pretty much impossible. The exam papers come in sealed envelopes which are opened by the invigilators after all candidates enter the exam hall. The invigilators are not from the school. They are also the ones to collect papers after the exams and prepare them to be sent off. Your subject teachers are not allowed in the exam hall when you are taking the exam. Lynxarin
The invigilators in the school I go to are our teachers. On monday we had Physics paper 3 and then the invigilator was our biology teacher and the other supervisor was our English teacher. Reply
illoveib
All the invigilators in my exams are teachers of different subjects too. And my coordinator has been in the room every exam so far Reply
