I've read that if I go over, only my first 1300 words are read, but does that pertain to just my essay, or is that my essay plus my outline? Do in-text citations count towards word count? ellie Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 In case you got an extension: Only essay counts, not the outline; in-text citations count though (footnotes don't count, use those?)
