diya pudota
Hey! I am currently working on my extended essay in psychology( emotional abuse in children and intellectual growth), and am not quite sure what my outline should hold. I tried looking for samples but none have been helpful so far. Please help me out. Reply
IB_taking_over
As outlines are not required to be submitted to IB, there are no specific criteria for an outline. If your school requires you submit an outline, you are best to check with them to find if they require anything specific. Generally speaking, outlines provide you, the writer, an opportunity to organize your thoughts and connect they to your question. When I did my EE outline I broken it into intro, body sections (I had 4 by the end), and conclusion. Under each, of the categories I wrote what my plan was to write about. (It's worth noting that I had all of my notes as a separate document so most of my outline was fairly broad.) Outlines can be 5 min quick idea or a project that takes hours to complete. It really depends on what your specific needs from an outline are. Reply
