Quote

Language in which the extended essay is written Extended essays submitted in a group 1 or group 2 language must be written in that language, with the exception of Latin and classical Greek. Extended essays for subjects in groups 3 to 6, and in Latin and classical Greek, must be written in English, French or Spanish.

^ From EE guide (English), page 20.
If you speak French or Spanish more fluently than English, you may choose to write in that language instead. You may wish to read some more technical (professional) writings regarding biology or respiratory system, or lung capacity, to understand how to formulate your EE. At least, you should ensure that the terminology is accurate in biological/medical fields. For grammar, you can consult a spelling and grammar checker. Shorter sentences are often easier to proofread, and may communicate more effectively.
