maodeng Posted June 23, 2016 Report Share Posted June 23, 2016 I'm a rising IB senior in California and I'm working on my Extended Essay. I have a research question, " Did the economic reforms of Mao ZeDong or Deng XiaoPing contribute more towards the modernization of China? " and I'm just wondering if my RQ is strong enough? Should I focus more on the political reforms instead of the economic ones? Also, I'm kind of having trouble formulating sub-topics to write the body, so anyone have advice? Right now I'm thinking of doing paragraphs on Mao's policies followed by paragraphs on Deng and analyzing each and comparing/contrasting them.
