Harry Yoon
Looking at samples of personal statements online, I see many of them mention things like awarded in Olympiad, went to the international debate competition, carried medical service out in other countries and etc, and I wonder how do universities know whether they actually accomplished those activities? Do we have to provide extra documents to prove the activities? Thanks, Reply
Oscarthecat3
Hi there, Universities don't know whether what you write in your personal statement is legitimate or not; however, they may ask for extra documentation during interviews to prove what you wrote. You do not need to provide extra documents during the application process though - but you may need these documents later on down the line. Hope this helps 1 Reply
