Literature Paper 2

Hi apoello,

When I did P2 I would keep notes of patterns (recurring ideas) and similarities and contrasts (in characters or situations) in order to ground thematic ideas or authorial intention. That was the first and most consistent aspect of my highlighting and note-taking. For the classics there are tons of critical notes online, but what can be hard is noticing and mustering the necessary details to respond to the question. Understanding and responding to the P2 question can be pretty tricky too. Having the details and re-reading the books (at least 2 times, if not more) made the difference for me.
