gkkiller
Hey guys. I found this scale online for converting IB scores to GPA: 7 = 4.0 6 = 3.7 5 = 3 4 = 2.3 I was wondering how accurate this is. I've got a GPA of 3.85 according to this (39/42 in my first year finals). Does that sound right? The thing is I'm not sure how this would take into account EE and TOK. If anyone has an 'official' scale to convert IB points to GPA, please let me know. 1 Reply

IB`NOT`ez
My counsellor showed me a table – 6/7 is still a 4.0 GPA, 5/7 is a 3.0 GPA, 4/7 is 2.5 etc. Generally IB scores aren't converted to GPA and from my understanding, there's no official conversion chart. Also different universities will have different scalings/weightings/method for the IB so it's somewhat pointless to think about it.
