James White
I live in a place that's relatively starved of math competitions and research internship opportunities. Although there are is a math competition, I heard about it too late, and now I only have one shot at it. I started a Math club at my school and I've tutored underprivileged kids in math, but are there any other math-related things that I could do? ChocolateDrop
Have you looked into Maths Olympiads? Ask maths teachers in your school they may be aware of competitions and such. Reply
IBTopper
Yes, plus there are international math olympiads too that everyone can participate in Reply
James White
Yeah, I know about olympiads, but that's the thing, I can only go to the international olympiads by qualifying through the regional olympiad in my country (which is the competition I just found out about), so I don't really have that much of a chance. As for other math olympiads in my country, there are none (at least none that are fun). That's what I meant when I said that I live in a place that's relatively starved of math competitions.
