ib_tesseract
Hey, So I've decided to do my Math IA on Time Dilation for the SL Syllabus I was just looking for opinions, on whether its a good idea or not and if I could score very well on it. All suggestions and thoughts are appreciated. I've focused more on the easier explanation for time dilation by just looking at it in special relativity problems as opposed to general relativity (the latter is more confusing and requires more abstract Math). How do you guys think I could make it better? Thanks Reply
IB Math Helper
Not sure how you can make the explanation of special relativity "better". You can talk about the twin paradox and how time in satellites needs to be adjusted for (when compared to observer on the Earth). I think the twin paradox could be interesting. If you've seen the movie Interstellar, the twin paradox is wonderfully shown there. Reply
