Befuddled
Hi guys, So I've been considering to get the MBBS degree for a few months now, but I'm having more and more questions about it every day. I am really interested in Biology and thought medicine is the best way for me to use this interest and help people likewise by becoming a doctor. However, recently in our Bio class we did a respirometer experiment using maggots/some kind of worm.... And I must say I was not into touching them because of their wriggling. This made me think how would I react when in med school we were given dissections to carry out etc. Does anyone know what kinds of activities and practicals are usually carried out in med school? Also, which other career would you recommend if perhaps I find I may not be suitable for medicine? Reply
