wheredidmyfreetimego
I can't come up with any Chemistry IA ideas because I'm not passionate about the subject. How can I come up with Chemistry IA ideas if I don't care about the subject? Reply

I'd hazard a guess to say that it was a university prerequisite or otherwise important for a tertiary education goal. That's why I picked Chemistry, and, so far, I haven't particularly enjoyed it. My advice? Just pick a generic topic from Organic Chemistry and be done with it. Reply
kw0573
Pick a well-known high school chemistry lab procedure (eg from textbook or online) and make minimal adjustments. Reply

Oh, I see. chemistry is probably a 'passport' subject here--a subject to reach out to other learning areas in universities. It's like math HL to me. I am not really good at math, but I will need it for university. Then choose something easy to conduct, like metal and acid reactions. Reply
VeronicaG
I used candy in my SL Chem IA. Made a solution and puts chunks of marble in it to see which caused more 'tooth decay' from acids. The best part was the giant amounts of candy I got to eat after Reply
