Math HL IA topic help

For my first point, I was referring to the idea of taking the logarithm of a complex number e.g. what log10(i) equals.  You could also start with logs of negative numbers e.g. what ln(-1) equals.  

My second point is related to examples such as cos(i) or sin(1+2i), where you take the sin, cos, or tan of a complex number.
