ABKor752 Posted February 26, 2017 Report Share Posted February 26, 2017 I am writing my World Lit essay on Mahfouz's Midaq Alley, specifically on the themes that the character Kirsha expresses. I have a thesis which, according to my teacher, works as an idea but is too wordy to understand. This is it: "...the alley cannot deny the reality that defiance from social expectations brings about destructive superiority over others." That is very wordy.
