IBaid
Hi all! We are doing our mock exams right now and I know that they are not obligatory and each school chooses if they want to have it or not. However, our IB coordinator said that if we miss, or if they think that we will not pass the exams, they will remove our names from the IB exam registration list. Thus, we won't be able to graduate... Now, I wonder if a school has the right to do so? I mean since mocks are not a must. I should still have the right to do my real exams even though I fail my mocks. What do you guys think about this? Reply
queenfeelnet
Honestly, I don't know for sure if they can actually do that, but it feels off. To me, it seems like they just want you guys to work hard in the mocks so that you can benefit later on. If they actually DO remove names from the registration exams, I think that is violating the IB diploma regulations.
