Dimitrije Posted April 1, 2017 Report Share Posted April 1, 2017 (edited) I recently joined IB, from the IGCSE programme and I'm starting to cope I think. I decided to make my EE in music, as it is my passion. My initial question was "How exactly does music affect our mood and how do different genres affect our mood?". I consulted my IB coordinator and she said that in my school, such an essay had never been done before. I felt scared here. I didn't know whether to be scared because there is no content in music as an EE subject or to feel excited as I'm the first. I don't take music as a subject either, nor do I have any degree in music, but I sing well and play guitar well too. The basis of this whole thing (and I apologise if that paragraph was irrelevant) is to get some advice on how to start, which direction to go and I'm open to suggestions for research questions or just general research.
