Human Rights: Still A Topic For The 2018 Session?

Recommended Posts

Talking to a friend about her EE; she wants to write an EE under human rights but we can't find it in the IBO EE guide.

Is it still a subject for EE submissions? If so, could you send me a link to the IB subject-specific guidance?

Thanks in advance!

You can do it on human rights, however you have to link it to a specific subject, such as history, etc.

Yes, but there used to be a group 3 subject for EE submissions called "human rights"...

I dont think that specific subject exists anymore. For all I know the only subjects in group 3 are these

Business management
Economics
Geography
Global Politics
History
Information technology in a global society
Philosophy
Psychology
Social and cultural anthropology
World religions

Nope, I just researched... Officially for the extended essay you are allowed to choose a strand of global politics, which is human rights... So yes you can write an extended essay on human rights
