Guest sadfasdfeeeeee Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 I'm using windows vista but I do not want it to download updates automatically. I changed it to "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" but it changed back to "install updates automatically". Does anyone know a way to stop it from doing this? Is this proof that windows is spy ware, by downloading/installing things without my approval? Also, I know windows is a piece of crap, that's why I dual-boot ubuntu but I need vista for my homework (calc book on CD and can only be run on windows or mac, already tried using programs).
