Can a school ask for a min of 25 points to get into dp2

Right now I have 24 points but the school says if I don't get 1 more point I can not pass in to dp2. Can they do that?

Every school has their own rules so yes they can but technically you can still take the IB exam even if you did not pass to dp2 in your actual school.

Like what shellzies said, every school has their own rules. However, in the final IB, you need at least 24 points to pass if you're on diploma. A friend of mine got 22 in DP1 but still got promoted to DP2 under the condition that he would be put under probation for 1 quarter and if he fails to get 24 and above the following quarter, he would have to drop to certificate.
