bryana_nc
so for my group's presentation we had orginally had the topic "what is the meaning of religion?" but everybody said it was to vague so we changed it. now its Is religion necessary in defining our morals and values? we kind of need some feedback if its a good topic. also, what kind of research should we do? we are using history, ethics, and natural science as our 3 areas of knowledge. for history we are doing the start of religions that mostly began in the middle east and southern asia. ethics we are using a court case, and the moral codes of major religions and for natural science we are using the theory of evolution [counterexample] our presentation is somewhat built around einstein's quote A man's ethical behaviour should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death. (Albert Einstein, Religion and Science, New York Times Magazine, 9 November 1930 we also are using our personal examples. please if you have any suggestions for us, let me know[: Reply
