IJustWanaPass
I want to do my Math IA with Fourier transform, but I don't know what I can do with it. I tried looking up the heat equation but it was too difficult to understand. What would you recommend? Reply
kw0573
Fourier transform is a good topic. It's basically isolating individual frequencies from an interference of waves. So you are probably looking for something to do with frequencies, waves, wavelengths, etc. 1 Reply
Sho
Even i am doing fourier transform. But, i doubt that this topic is a littlw overdone. Would that decrease my score? Reply

Would that decrease my score? In my opinion, "overdone" is just an excuse people give when they can't write a good exploration. I hope that you can find a way to make it work. 1 Reply
IJustWanaPass
So I narrowed down my topic to using the transforms in different signal problems. So far I've written down a short summary about Fourier, his Analytical heat theory and will start writing about Signals. I figured I would include these things in my IA: Introduction To Fourier His greatest work Signals Fourier Transforms Applying Transforms in Signals Uses of isolating frequencies Why I wanted to write about this topic Personal Thoughts What should I add/remove? Thanks Reply
kw0573
No need to introduce the person fourier. I would explain the reasons of exploring this topic early in the IA. Incorporate personal thoughts into the rest of text. 1 Reply
