Mira Posted July 1, 2017 Report Share Posted July 1, 2017 I am doing a database biology IA and I have hypothesised that my two variables are dependent on each other and that there will a positive correlation. However, after doing a chi-squared test I had to accept the null hypothesis and therefore concluded that the variables are independent. My correlation coefficient value also supports this weak relationship as it is 0.2. Does this mean that my investigation is invalid? Reply Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
