Hello! I'm an International (Asian) aiming for top universities in US, for now, the goal being Caltech. My GPA is pretty good, and Standardized test scores have room for improvement (and I do have time to improve). Extracurriculars is being worked on. Our school gives out GPA's separate from the IB Predicted grades.I was feeling good, until I saw this

"Competitive applicants whose schools offer the IB curriculum will have scores of 6 or 7 on their IB exams, including their "predicted" grades." - How to Apply as a First-Year Applicant from the Caltech webpage

So now, I'm curious (and scared): Do IB predicted scores matter when you're applying for top US unis, primarity Caltech?
