tiffae
Hi all, I will need to choose my HL soon but I'm struggling to choose which ones to do... I'm doing physics, chemistry, business management, english A, chinese B and math at the moment. My teachers highly recommend us to do english A L&L in HL but in my first semester exam I've gotten a 4..(7 in other subjects) so I know I'm really weak at english. But if I'm not doing english HL, I'm thinking of doing physics, chem and business HL, will it be really hard to do physics and chemistry HL together? Thanks a lot for the opinions!!!! shellziess
Physics and Chemistry HL is not all too hard if you enjoy the subjects and are good at them. Actually (rarely) they sometimes help you understand some things from the other subject in another angle. Hope this answers your question 1 Reply
IJustWanaPass
@shellziess Indeed both subjects have some coinciding syllabus chapters. Choose English A1 HL, it will save you from having to waste your time from IELTS and TOEFL. The subject itself isn't difficult, you just have to be good at analysing and have good vocabulary. Having chemistry HL and physics HL will be difficult unless your enjoy both subjects. Read about the HL syllabus for both subjects and make your decision afterwards.
