Aside from in-class quiz, tests and of course the final papers exam, do internal assessments, interactive orals and what not count towards the end results? In class quizzes and tests never count, they are only done so that the teachers have an idea what to put on your predicted grades that you send to uni during your application. kw0573 Posted July 25, 2017 Report Share Posted July 25, 2017 IB publishes a guide (or syllabus as one would say) for each course which is invaluable to getting through IB. Guides outline specifically what concepts are on final papers as well as weightings and criteria for each IB assessment. I ignored them in Year 1 and got bad grades in my anticipated subjects but bounced back in Year 2 after realize their importance. IB updates guides every 6-8 years.
