kw0573 Posted July 29, 2017 Report Share Posted July 29, 2017 It's a very good start. You may find yourself tweaking your topic and scopes along the way, which is completely fine. Remember to explain some of the math concepts to show understanding, especially it is outside of HL Core. It doesn't sound like you can guarantee a 6 in Use of Mathematics but it could be close. Ultimately, choosing an interesting topic is just the first step to getting a good score and you have to make sure the IA is well organized and rigorous.
