Hey

so I want to do my math IA on fourrier transforms and just create an example on how they can be used to clean a picture. Is that too advanced for a HL student??

I think for content outside of syllabus, you can just do something abstract or theoretical. It is not necessary to include applied math. I mean that you have to be quite comfortable in a math topic to be able to do an application.
