Does anybody know how many points do you need in order to get to top American universities like Harvard, Yale, UCLA, Berkeley,etc. Is IB therefore considered as priority for admission officers with regards to other high school diplomas? Vicdec Posted January 5, 2018 Report Share Posted January 5, 2018 I’m not sure about Yale and Berkeley (although I do know that they require higher scores than UCLA), but the average UCLA score is a 39... and as far as I know,if you can do well in the IB it is worth it, however it is better to do well taking AP classes rather than doing OKAY doing the IB. hope this helped!
