My supervisor said I need sales reports to prove that. The manager of the organization refused to give me sales reports. It is alright not to get the sales report, some businesses are private about it, you can include that in your "anticipated difficulties" I suggest you use other primary resources for example interviewing the manager about the current condition of the sales, and why it has been falling.
