GayatriSom123
I had a math exam recently and after I got out of the paper I realised that I had put in one wrong number into the formula. My method was all right and I got an answer based on the numbers I put in. Will I get any marks for it ? Its a 15 mark question so I hope I don't lose all the marks Reply
Sleeping Dude
I'm not certain but if you said that your method was right, you won't lose all your marks! I'm pretty sure that you will lose 1 mark for incorrect answer but it will be a 'carried through' error. You will probably have to read other people's opinions on this because I'm not entirely sure, but hope this calmed you a bit! 1 Reply
GayatriSom123
I really hope that is the case because that number was supposed to be calculated at the beginning of the question and then you use the number throughout the two subparts of the question. But I used the right formula and everything. I just obviously got the wrong answer. Its really annoying because it will probably make a difference in my level from a 6 to a 7. Of course that assumes I have not made mistakes anywhere else in the paper which I highly doubt I have not Reply
