blueberry9
Will I be marked down for using opportunity sampling instead of random sampling? I know that it's better to do random sampling but it inconveniences everyone else. If I discuss the flaws in my sampling will it be ok? Reply

They don't mind at all if you do a convenience sample, in fact its pretty much the standard. I'd recommend bring it up as a flaw in your experiment in the discussion and suggesting the use of a purposive sample for greater symbolic representation and hence representational generalisability. But what you're doing sounds A. OK. to me. 2 Reply
