An EE in Mathematics

So i decided to do my EE in math
and my topic WAS

The Evolution of Calculus: How did the branch of mechanics influence the expansion of Calculus


but,, i soon realized that math sl does not cover extensive calculus :/
so i was thinking about doing my on series & sequences;;
its simple, and my teachers said there is many areas where you could apply this to

[naturally ooccuring patterns, algebra, etc]


but i really dont know,
do you think ib might think this
topic is too easy?

Honestly, I think its a poorly thought out topic. You could make it much better or refined. Or even choose something more involved in actual mathematics, and then use it at your level as well.
