Im doing one comparing the giver and the handmaidens's tale and looking at what characterizes dystopian novel such as these, is that a good enough reasearch question or too broad? I separated my essay into looking at: What is supposed to be the ideal? Who is in charge(benefiting)? here i also looked at how they ruled with both fear or respect and how they contrasted Who is paying (losing)? Who tries to stop it? And then my teacher suggested I look at what this says about us, but I fear this may be cutting it too close to the word limit.
