CocoPop
Hey congrats! I'll be applying to MIT next year and acceptance is like a distant dream for me. I'm really not expecting anything, but it would be my dream to go to an institution like MIT. Reply
Anonymouser
My goodness MIT are so picky! Long live MIT! =PNot only do they send out their decisions on the 14 of March (which is 3/14 btw, "Pi day" 3.14159265358979....)But they also show them on 1:59 pm EXACTLY! Haha I cracked up when I read that email especially at the "Receiving your decision online is as easy as pi."Anywho... So who's waiting for a decision from them other than I?MIT Regular Action admissions decisions will be made available online onSaturday, March 14 at 2:00 PM EDT... actually, we'll probably havedecisions posted a minute before 2pm.Q. What is the process for receiving my admissions decision?A. Receiving your decision online is as easy as pi. When decisions are released Saturday at 1:59PM EDT, simply visit https://decisions.mit.edu and log in using the same username and password that you use to log into your MyMIT account. There are no interim screens, so you should be sure you are ready to receive your decision online before logging in to decisions.mit.edu. Admissions decisions will be available exclusively online. To ensure that you will receive a decision online, please visit https://decisions.mit.edu and enter your username and password. Decisions.mit.edu will be available this week for applicants to confirm their login ability and decision eligibility.PS: I'm not expecting to get accepted AT ALL. (99% I'm rejected, to be honest.) flsweetheart422
Just out of curiosity, how did the MIT admissions process go notification wise? I'm pretty sure that only the ED kids have heard back so far, but if I'm wrong please feel free to correct me. How many application deadlines were there? Vicki
I have a question about MIT: do they offer scholarships to international students? I'm interested in going there... Reply
timtamboy63
Vicki, they offer no scholarships, its need based financial aid. I've heard it is a little harder for international students, but if you actually can't afford it, they will give you the money to go (or so I hear) Reply
Abu
MIT is need-blind for all students (international or not): http://web.mit.edu/sfs/glossary/index2.html#n Reply
AndreaRuiz
Hola Ezequiel, felicitaciones! How hard is to get in MIT? I think I'm gonna study Environmental Engineering, but I'm interested in applying to MIT for Astronomy/Astrophysics, and it'd really help if you could give me a heads up on how hard do I have to study to get into MIT!
