Cschreiner7701
I have to do my IOP on Macbeth in about 2 weeks. I was thinking about doing something along the lines of analyzing the sound effects of Macbeth, like the thunder, the bells, the owl, the knocking, etc. and talking about how they play a role in motifs, add suspense, and are used as symbols. Would this be a good idea or should I figure out something else? I just don’t know if I’ll be able to talk about it for 10-15 minutes. Reply
Lixter
It sounds like a good topic. However, do try to focus on one specific effect of sound or motif. Do not try to analyse everything; go in-depth with your IOP rather than trying to do a bit of everything. Reply
