star43
I am extremely worried because the exam went really badly. I have a high 6 on my IA. How badly do I have to do to fail Maths SL? What would I have to get on the papers to at least get a pass? Edited May 10, 2018 by star43 Reply
kw0573
For timezone 2, you need like around 25-30 points out of 90 on each paper to get a 3. In most cases 2 is also a pass which is much lower. Reply
star43
Thank you!!! And for a 2 what would it be? Reply
star43
Would my IA alone get me a 1? Reply
kw0573
You need to get like about half a question right on each exam to get a 2. Anything less is a 1 (1 is the minimum grade IB gives). Reply
star43
Wait really?? But then it's nearly impossible to fail. It must be higher to get a 2. Reply
kw0573
About half question to one whole question correct on each paper with a 6/7 on IA to get 2. Basically you need about 18-19/100 to get a 2. IA alone already gives you around 14-15. If you meant 6/20 on IA then it's about 1-2 questions right to get a 2. Reply
