Kil- STRO Posted May 27, 2018 Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 Hey, I'll be heading over to the DP next year, I am struggling with my group 2 subject choice. I have Spanish and French AB initio to choose from. I've been studying French B in MYP for the last 3 years, but I struggle with French a lot and I really don't like the subject. In my MYP years, I usually get 3 - 4s or just maybe 5s for French B. On the other hand, I've never learnt Spanish before and have no idea about the subject. But for the record, I honestly don't like studying languages or learning new of them, but for the sake of completing my IB, I've got to. Purple1502 Posted July 11, 2018 Report Share Posted July 11, 2018 Hope this isn't too late. Spanish ab initio seems like a better option considering you don't like French. Since you'll be starting out from scratch you will have a clean slate. Try it out and if you don't like Spanish, French seems like your only option. Good luck!
