CL3
Hi I'm in Maths SL and I am trying to find a reasonable object where I can find the volume of revolution and surface area for my IA. Many are doing a vase or a can but I'm hesitant about doing those objects because I need a realistic reason to why I need to find the volume so I can get some personal engagement marks. (For example, if I do a vase its not like I need to fill the water all the way up to the top). So if maybe any of you guys can think of a good object to investigate, PLS help ! Thank you <3 Reply
idek
torus. My maths HL IA was on torus volume/surface of revolution - Cavalieri's principle and Pappus's centroid theorem also work well for that. Reply
